Hear recently from a passionate saints friend that whitfield could be on the way to the saints when his ban is finished.. I know its ridiculously early in the season but has anyone else heard this?

anyone who has a lot of spare time should check the Saints draft & trade thread on Big Footy.
They think they're keeping both their first rounders and getting Fyfe, Hopper and Whitfield this off-season.

I don't know what threads you are reading but we are under no illusions that we would be keeping both their first rounders and getting Fyfe, Hopper and Whitfield this off-season. We basically need another gun midfielder to go with Jack Steven. You have too many great players due to concessions from the AFL and will struggle to keep them under your salary cap or they will not got enough game time e.g. Jack Steele and want to leave. All Melbourne clubs will circle at season end and if you win this years premiership their values will make it near impossible to keep all your guns
On a positive nice to see you use the masses of draft picks wisely not like the suns
